Social Settings Tab

This section is for specifying various settings pertaining to the social networking features of the player. Click the Players tab, then the Web Player sub-tab, then click Edit for the player you want to edit. Click the Social tab.

Note: v6 player functionality is deprecated.

Area	Description
Facebook	• Text Mask: (Required if using Facebook) Pre-loaded text that appears in the Facebook share dialog, where the user can edit it if they want. The default mask is "Currently listening to {{media_song}} by {{media_artist}} on {{station}} at {{player URL}}", where: o {{media_song}} is replaced with the song playing when the user clicks the Facebook share button. o {{media_artist}} is replaced with the artist of the song playing when the user clicks the Facebook share button. o {{station}} is replaced with the station name field set on the Station tab. o {{player URL}} is replaced with the URL of the player the user is using. • Facebook Image: The image that will appear in the Facebook Like/Share dialog. Twitter	• Text Mask: (Required if using Twitter) Pre-loaded text that appears in the Facebook share dialog, where the user can edit it if they want. The default mask is "Currently listening to {{media_song}} by {{media_artist}} on {{station}} at {{player URL}}", where: o {{media_song}} is replaced with the song playing when the user clicks the Twitter share button. o {{media_artist}} is replaced with the artist of the song playing when the user clicks the Twitter share button. o {{station}} is replaced with the station name field set on the Station tab. o {{player URL}} is replaced with the URL of the player the user is using. Email Share	• Email Subject Text Mask: Pre-loaded text that appears in the subject of the email message, where the user can edit it if they want. The default mask is "Currently listening to {{media_song}} by {{media_artist}} on {{station}} at {{player URL}}", where: o {{media_song}} is replaced with the song playing when the user clicks the Twitter share button. o {{media_artist}} is replaced with the artist of the song playing when the user clicks the Twitter share button. o {{station}} is replaced with the station name field set on the Station tab. o {{player URL}} is replaced with the URL of the player the user is using. • Email Body Text Mask: Pre-loaded text that appears in the body of the email message, where the user can edit it if they want. The default mask is "{{player URL}}", where: {{player URL}} is replaced with the URL of the player the user is using.
