When you have a new show or series to make available to the public, you set up a show for it in AmperWave Podcasting. The first thing to do is create the show, then complete a few other tasks to get it ready to go, including:
To create a new show:

On the Shows/Episodes page, click Create Show.
The Create Show dialog appears. -
Fill in the Show Info and Ads/Ad Templates fields.
Show Info Fields:

Content Producer
Select the content producer for the new show.
Show Name
Name the new show. This is the name that will appear to the public.
Best Practice:Keep this short and descriptive. Imagine a user saying “Alexa, play me the latest episode of [YOUR SHOW NAME]”
Show Slug
An HTML-friendly identifier for the show. No spaces or special characters.
Show Type
Choose betweenAudioandVideo.
Disable from Channels
If enabled, the show's episodes are published but do not appear in channels. The episodes can be accessed by a link.
AmperWave Streaming Station ID
Obtain this value fromAmperWave PodcastingSupport. This field is used to input the station ID in theAmperWave PodcastingConsole for this show and is used to target ads to this show.
Next
Click to go to the next screen in the dialog.
Finish
Click to create the show.

The website for the new show.
RSS Channel
The channel URL for this show. You can generate this in the Channels tab, and is the URL you submit to sources like iTunes.
iTunes URL
The channel URL for this show. You can generate this in the Channels tab, and is the URL you submit to iTunes.
Default Tags
Tags and categories are used to filter channels.
Default Categories
Categories assigned to new episodes in this show. Tags and categories are used to filter channels.
Options
Categories assigned to new episodes in this show for use by iTunes. Click a category's check box to select it.
Previous
Click to go to the previous screen in the dialog.
Next
Click to go to the next screen in the dialog.
Finish
Click to create the show.

Fill in the Episode Default Values fields.
Episode Default Values:

iTunes Season
The iTunes season for the new show.
iTunes Episode Type
The default iTunes episode type for new episodes in this show.
Show Filename
The filename of the episode.
Note: iTunes does not like show names to start with an episode number.
CMS Default Status
The status an episode has by default when created for this show.
FTP Default Status
The status an episode has by default when uploaded to this show by FTP.
Pending Status
Select whether new episodes are automatically published or saved as drafts.
Auto Expire (days)
The length of time a show is available. The default is Never Expires.
Title
The title of the new show.
Comments
A default episode description, visible to users when they drill into an episode.
Previous
Click to go to the previous screen in the dialog.
Finish
Click to create the show.
- Click Finish.
Your new show's page will appear.
