Insights is a highly customizable reporting dashboard that lets you create detailed reports for you and your clients.

How you build your report will depend on what information you are looking to report on. Because the tool has so many reporting options it is important to familiarize yourself with the most common Metrics and Dimensions used in reporting and create reports that only include the information you or the client is seeking, rather than choosing too many options and creating a bloated report that can be difficult to understand.

Report Request - Sold Impressions for a Campaign by Station, Station DMA and Listener DMA
This report request is for a single Campaign with a single ad line active during the previous month. The client would like to see which stations the ad was heard on, which DMa the station is in and which DMAs the listeners heard the ad in. They have not asked for any dayparting and just seek the prior month's delivery.
The most efficient way to build this report is as follows:
Report Type: Impressions
Date Range: The previous month is automatically entered when you open the Insights tool, but you can also select "Presets" to the right of the Date fields and select "Previous Month"
Group By Date: Month
Metrics: Sold Impressions
Dimensions: Ad Campaign Name, Station Code, Station DMA, Client Geo DMA Name
Filters: Ad Campaign ID - in - (Enter Campaign's ID number in the field, wait for it to populate and then click on the ID to select it.
Note: A Campaign's ID is a number assigned to the Campaign by the AmperWave Streaming Console upon creation and can be found on the Campaign's summary page at the end of the Campaign Name in parenthesis.

Click Generate Report: Your report will generate and automatically download a .csv file when it is finished.
Your report results will also display below the reporting tool in a table format.
Report Request - Sold Impressions by Genre
Your client wants to know which radio formats their ad was heard on the most. They can then use this information to target that genre more, or target other genres where they think their target audience would be more likely to be listening. They were running two ads, targeted to two different age demographic segments last month.
The most efficient way to build this report is as follows:
Report Type: Impressions
Date Range: The previous month is automatically entered when you open the Insights tool, but you can also select "Presets" to the right of the Date fields and select "Previous Month"
Group By Date: Month
Metrics: Sold Impressions
Dimensions: Ad Title, Station Genre
Note: You want to choose Ad Title here so you can see the results of both of their ads in the same report but on different reporting rows. This allows you to filter and sort by the Ad Line in your report, instead of the results being combined.
Filters: Ad Campaign ID - in - (Enter Campaign's ID number in the field, wait for it to populate and then click on the ID to select it.
Alternately you could choose Ad Media ID, and enter both of the Ad Media ID's in the filter box. Ad Media IDs are found at the end of the URL for the Ad Line when on the Ad's Summary page after mid=

Report Request - Reach & Frequency for a Campaign, by Month
You client wants to know how many unique listeners heard their Campaign each month for the last 3 months the campaign was active and an average of how often each listener heard the campaign each month.
The most efficient way to build this report is as follows:
Report Type: Impressions
Date Range: Select the previous 3 months from the date selection tool
Group By Date: Month
Metrics: Sold Impressions, Unique Listeners, Frequency
Dimensions: Ad Campaign Name
Filters: Ad Campaign ID - in - (Enter Campaign's ID number in the field, wait for it to populate and then click on the ID to select it.
Click Generate Report: Your report will generate and automatically download a .csv file when it is finished.
Report Request - Total Sessions and Total Listening Hours by Station, by Week
Your client wants to know how many listening sessions an total listener hours by week, for each station for the last year.
The most efficient way to build this report is as follows:
Report Type: Listener
Date Range: Select the previous 12 months from the date selection tool
Group By Date: Week
Metrics: Total Sessions, Total Listener Hours
Dimensions: Station Code
Click Generate Report: Your report will generate and automatically download a .csv file when it is finished.
