AmperWave Podcasting reports let you analyze data about the downloads, bandwidth, and audience for your episodes. The Content Metrics report shows your downloads and audience numbers, broken down by time, content producer, show, or episode. The Bandwidth report shows your bandwidth usage, broken down by time, content producer, show, or episode.
To run a new content metrics report, click the Analytics tab, and then click Content Metrics in the navigation bar
Note: To run a new report with the same selections as a previous report, select View Report for that report from the Report History table and click New report with same settings in the upper right corner of the page.
To run a new report:
-
On the Content Metrics page, set the report parameters. The options are:
- Breakdown By: The value you select here becomes the units along the bottom of the report's graph. For example, in a Content Metrics report, if you want to look at downloads for each week, you would select Time (Day, Week, Month).
- Show Audience: Select this to have the report display the unique audience metric as well as full and partial downloads. Reports that include this metric take longer to process.
- Geo Breakdown: This parameter is optional. If you want to break down the data by geographical location, select Country, City, or DMA (USA only). Reports that include a geo breakdown consist of an interactive heat map and an information table.
-
Date Range: Set the start and end date of the span you want to analyze. You can use the calendar icon
to select the dates, enter them manually in the text boxes in the form mm/dd/yy, or select them from the Presets menu.
- Report Name: Use the automatically-generated name (which is based on your parameter selections), or enter your own. This name is listed in the Report History so you can easily view this report's result again.
-
Indicate which shows to include in the report by selecting them in the Report Content list. Shows are grouped by content producer. To select all shows, click the check box at the top of the list. To expand a content producer, revealing the individual shows, click the expand icon
by the content producer's name. To collapse the list, click the collapse icon
.
- When everything is set the way you want, click Run Report.
To export the report into an Excel file, click Generate XLS in the upper right. To print the report or download it as a PNG or JPEG image, or a PDF, click the menu icon
on the right.
