Companion banners are images that can be used to accompany in stream or gateway ads. The companion banner must have a resolution or 300x250 pixels. The companion banner can be created by going to the Summary tab within a campaign. From there scroll down to the bottom of the page and select New Companion Banner. A new window will appear where the companion banner can be named and uploaded. A click through URL can be added, as well as a tracking URL if third party tracking is desired.
Once the companion banner has been created it will need to be tied to an in stream or gateway ad.
- This can be done by selecting the desired ad during set up in the campaign.
- From there navigate to the Properties tab, and click Edit Properties.
- On the Banners drop-down select the companion banner that needs to be displayed and then select Save Changes.
Display Banners:
Display banners are images that will display on your player regardless of what ad is playing. They show up on the v6 player along the bottom, below the album art section. The dimensions for display banners are 728x90 and for mobile 300x50. If you want a banner to display on both desktop and mobile you need a banner at both resolutions. If you have multiple banners set to target a single station, they will rotate evenly. You can set the rotation timer in each of your player's settings within the Players section
