A stream down alert is an email sent to a predetermined list of people notifying them that AmperWave Streaming is no longer receiving audio fragments from a given station. The alert is triggered when we haven’t received audio fragments from the encoder for more than one minute.
- Alerts are sent every 15 minutes for up to an hour or until the stream reconnects whichever happens first.
- An “all clear” email is sent when the stream reconnects.
