To access the Sales Source report click the Ad Management tab, then the Reports sub-tab on the AmperWave Streaming console, then select Sales Source.
A Sales Source report displays information about where the ads in your stream have been coming from or who has sold them. For example, from your Local Sales Team, National Sales Team, Triton a2x, and so on.
To run a Sales Source report:
In Date Range, select a date range.
There are several Parameters to choose from to customize your report.
-
In Stations, click on a station to move it to the Selected Sections column. By default all stations are selected.
- You can bulk select stations using the Market, Language, Format and Band filters. Clicking the double arrow buttons moves your selected stations to and from the Available Stations and Selected Stations lists.
- In Select Ad Type, choose Instream or Gateway
Note: For existing campaigns you will need to add a sales source to the campaign in order to generate this report. - Click Generate Report
Your report will display below in a columnar format.
Special Note:
The Sales Source Report can be a very large report depending on the filters chosen when generating it. A report that is too broad may cause the Streaming Console to freeze, displaying a spinning wheel for an extended period without ever finishing the report generation. If you experience the spinning wheel for more than few minutes, try doing either of the following:
- Select a smaller Date Range (preferred) - try ~30% of the total desired selection
- Select a smaller subset of Stations - try ~30% of the total desired selection
If generating the smaller report works, generate another report with the next 30% of the desired selection. Once that report is complete, you can return and run the entire report as desired.
Example:
For a March Sales Source Report, attempt March 1-9 on the first report, then March 10-18 on the second report. Finally, run the full report March 1-31, and it should complete much more quickly.
If generating the smaller report does not work, contact AmperWave Support for assistance.
